سيقوم خط LRT الجديد بالربط بين العاصمة الإدارية الجديدة بمدن مختلفة في القاهرة، بما في ذلك مدن السلام والشروق والعاشر من رمضان وهليوبوليس الجديدة والمستقبل، بالإضافة إلى الربط بطريق العين السخنة السريع، بقدرة استيعابية تصل إلي مليون راكب يوميًا.
