Tunnels & Culverts Connecting Electrical Substations At Makkah
Central Area (TCES) Project Phase-I, Package 1.
Scope of works of TCES project, Phase-I, Package 1 shall cover the
required survey, engineering, construction, integration, testing &
commissioning and handing over of 3241 meter long circular
tunnels (Line 2B.2, 1968 m & Line 3, 1273 m long – 6.6 m Internal
Diameter) with the relevant launching/receiving/connection/ventilation
shafts, for connecting electrical substations at Makkah Central Area,
utilizing Mechanized Tunneling System TBM (Tunnel Boring
Machine) with Segmental Concrete Lining.
(2 TBM will be used in the construction)
