Overview
Egypt’s first-ever electrified Light Rail Transit (LRT) System connects major cities including Al-Salam, the New Administrative Capital, and 10th of Ramadan City. Designed to accommodate 360,000 passengers daily, the LRT spans 105 km with 19 strategically located stations, incorporating 22 trains, each with 6 coaches. Built with French and Chinese collaboration, it ensures eco-friendly, efficient, and modern public transport.
